GRADING
Performance is monitored based on the CCSS for 4th grade and reported using the Standards Based Progress and Midterm Reports, which can be viewed at on the APS Website at http://www.aps.edu/assessment/sbpr/sbpr. Progress can be reviewed at home in the Data section of your child's B.O.B. Binder
You will see a number grade on your child's classwork or an effort letter. If work is done as a whole group you'll see a group work stamp or a smiley face. A "T" in a circle means that your child received support from the teacher to complete the task. Below is an explanation of grading marks.
1=Student is experiencing difficulty meeting grade level expectations.
2= The student is nearing the expectations.
3= The student meets expectations.
4=The student exceeds expectations.
